If you pre-ordered Anthem digitally from the Xbox or PS4 stores, your friend passes will be available on this page after you've started playing the VIP demo. So it sounds like to me that I have to wait till Friday to not only launch the game, but I also have to start playing the game before I can receive the friend passes. If you took part in the VIP demo, you'll need to download an update but you won't have to re-download the whole thing again. The Anthem open demo goes live for everyone on February 1 and will be.
