Cleared out a number of text threads that were there for no reason and those that had upwards of 20 + text messages, and then did * option #2 (updates roaming data for phone to/from towers). Android phone wont download pictures. · If I get a pic message while the data is off, obviously the phone can't download the larger pic file. THE PROBLEM comes in when you turn your data back on it will literally take days to download the picture!! It has happened to me on my EVO and now happening on my Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic Touch. It's an Android issue. · Friend sent me a txt message with a picture attachment. I hit download and "downloading" appears and never changes. Just keeps sitting on downloading. Had friend send it again and the same thing happened. I know she has a sammy phone as well which is about a year old don't know what kind of sammy topfind247.co I look to see how she did it looks like how I would send txt .
More and more #Samsung Galaxy S7 (#GalaxyS7) owners are complaining not being able to send and receive text messages while others are having issues transmitting texts with attached pictures or #MMS. Galaxy S9+ won't download photo messages while on wifi I read on another thread that turning 'wifi calling' off will allow the pictures in a text to download normally while you are on wifi. issue with wifi calling turned on and stopping pictures from dowloading is a bug with the newer models of the Galaxy phones. I rooted it and put a custom rom on it and now it wont allow me to get any pics in a text message. i have trird many different rom and that didnt help either. I still cant figure how to fix this. If I do I will put the solution on here. And if u can recieve the text but can not download it then u have the mobile data working. Without the data connection, you can't attach the picture to text message Android. To check if the cellular data is enabled or not, you need to go to the settings option. Then go to "Wireless and Network Settings" and tap the "Mobile Networks" and enable it by tapping, if the data is already on, you don't need to tap. When people send me text messages with a picture attached, I receive the message but it says something like this, with a "download" button: Message size: 1KB Expires: AM, Mar 12 [Download] When I press the download button, it changes to the text "Downloading" for a moment, and then it changes back to the download button and nothing else.
